Tryout registration fee: $50
*Players may attend more than one Strive tryout. This is a one time only fee and covers all the tryouts the player may want to attend.

You will need an AAU Membership before you can register for tryouts. Please visit AAU Sports to determine if you have an active membership or to register for $22.

We will have one team at each age group - 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U, and 18U. We will also have a 12U developmental team.

Saturday, 10/25/25

• 16U, 17U, 18U: 3-5pm at Atholton High School
• 14U & 15U: 6-8pm at Atholton High School

Sunday, 10/26/25

• 14U & 15U: 9-11am at Atholton High School
• 12U & 13U: 12-1:30pm at Atholton High School
• 16U, 17U, 18U: 2-4pm at Atholton High School

Age Definitions for the 2025-2026 Season

• Official offers will start being extended the afternoon/evening of Sunday, October 26.
• Offers will be made via email and a phone call and will be made by either the Head Coach or Assistant Coach to the player. Included in the email will be an invoice for a non-refundable $250 down payment for the season. This down payment ensures your commitment to the club and goes toward your season dues.
• Offers are active and valid for 48 hours.

What if my child doesn't receive an offer the afternoon/evening of October 26? Does that mean she didn't make a team?

No!  Due to how our offer process works, it can take us a couple of days to get offers out. Sometimes, we have offers out and can't offer that spot to someone else until we hear back from that first player. Please continue to be patient.

Does my child need to attend all age group tryouts (ex: the 14s tryout on 10/25 and the 14s tryout on 10/26)? 
No, but they are more than welcome to if they are interested! Your tryout fee covers all the tryouts for the weekend.

Can my child try out for multiple age groups (ex: the 16s team and the 17s team)?
Yes. If players have a preference on which age group they'd like to play on, they should let the coaching staff know at strivevbc@gmail.com.

Can my child play "up" then?
Yes! Players may play "up" meaning that if the coaching staff believes they have the skills to play at an older age group, they may do so. For example, a 12-year-old could be considered for our 14U team!

The important thing to consider is that players are not allowed to play "down" if their birthdate doesn't fall in the eligible range.

If your child makes a team, we will be having a signing potluck on Sunday, November 2 (time and location TBD).
